University class piece created as an introduction to Character Design in Z Brush.
Jeanfreau Walter R-J has been developed in response to a brief that required to create aged looking character that supposed to appear at the beginning of an animated short movie.
The look and art direction of the world in which Jeanfreau supposed to appear in was based on style of Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro movies such as Delicatessen.
Beside the established art direction and age of the character. I had full freedom to develop any type of hero or antagonist I wished to. Jeanfreau ended up becoming a character with a shady type of personality and appearance.
